Don't Waste Your Time
“I went into this business to inquire about wedding invitations. Not only did the girl at the front desk not appear to know what she was talking about, she also appeared to be possibly under the influence of something, spaced out frequently, ignored my questions and left to go into the back in the middle of one of my sentences. \n\nI feel that if a business advertises that it prints wedding invites, then it shouldn't be too much to ask to expect them to be somewhat knowledgeable. I did not feel confident handing over the responsibility of printing the invitations for the most important day of my life to this shop. You might want to save yourself the trip and find another shop to help you. ”

Metritech Inc.
False advertisement
“Metritech advertises itself with the slogan Having a degree has its perks. Well, that may be, but not in regards to working for Metritech. For any of you thinking of working as one of their seasonal test scorers, you may not want to consider the following:\n\nThey do not tell you what the pay is until after you take one of their tests, and are offered a position. Even on the paper which offers you a position, they don't tell you what the pay is. You have to call to schedule orientation and training session in order to find out. I'll save you some time and effort by sharing that pay is $10/hour as a starting test scorer. After 80 hours of work it goes up to $10.50/hour.\n\nI have a Master's degree and when I asked if the pay was negotiable, they said no. I proceeded to schedule an orientation and training session. The next week I received a letter from them, saying that they will not be employing me for this project after all (because I asked if the pay was negotiable). \n\nSo, if you're thinking about working for Metritech, at least now you have more information to help you decide if it's worth it. ”
